Valley Run for The Unlimited Child

Feel like doing something worthwhile today?

I’ve got just the thing for you.

Did you know that if children do not receive the correct stimulation between the age of 0 and 5, such as learning colours and shapes through educational toys, parts of their brain will wither and die. It’s a process that is not only irreversible, but also completely avoidable.

This is where you come in.

On the 1^st of June 32 runners will embark on a 112km Trail Run from Pietermaritzburg to Durban in the hopes of raising funds to educate, support and care for children between the ages of 0-5 - an initiative started by The Unlimited Child.  

The target is R80 000. At present they have managed to raise R34 447. But with only 10 days to go, they need your help. The runners, and the kids.

It’s super cool and totally girly. But I’m a girl, so I’m ok with that.

Instagram seems to be all the rage these days.

I was lucky enough to stumble, literally, into the latest exhibition at Fat Tuesday that other day, only to discover the most beautiful portraits by Andrew McGibbon. Andrew came round to the office about a year ago to show us his super impressive portfolio – and I recognized his works straight away. Clean, crisp and with an ability to make you stare at the subject matter, regardless of what it is.

I just so happen to be a horsey person so I was totally smitten with every single one of his exhibition pieces! Check out his impressive work here
