Thank You ...

... for all the wonderfully creative people out there with too much time on their hands.
Especially Terry Border, the guy responsible for these

I ♡ Shopping At The ...

Kiddie Kool

How lovely is this Ralph Lauren Children's Catalogue!
They've created a full on microsite to showcase their children's line in a very fresh and interactive way. There's a groups of kids, called 'The RL Gang' and they've each got their own little personalities and style - The sporty scruff ball, the nimble little lady, the free spirited rockstar ...

They get together during school classes and venture off on these magical adventures (kind of like the Magic School Bus, but not) where they learn life lessons, while looking incredibly stylish and gorgeous in their Ralph Lauren clothing. I mean, the clothes are just fabulous - trendy - but casual enough to not be pretentious and over-the-top.

There's a beautiful story book theme, narrated by Harry Connick Jnr. and the whole thing is just delightful. Plus the it's all illustrated in the most beautiful, pastel, water colours, but with live footage of the kids incorporated into it. Really nice touch.

The Microsite speaks directly to the right target market - the kids ...
With the right messages - individualism, helpfulness, and give back to the planet ...
Through the right medium - a web based storybook ...

Such gorgeous kids, such amazing clothing, and a really nice fresh look at promoting it.

More Wall Art

There's some new stuff from De Waal Art
And this time, she's sticking to some really South African icons - the buck head, tin windmills (the South African kind, not those fancy things from Holland), and some lekker home grown plant types. Check them out:

Polka My Dot

It's weird that I chose the background for this blog to be polka dots. I don't even like polka dots. They're so ... dotty. But because I did use polka dots, the Tart suggested I do a post about polka dots. And I always do what Tart says, so this, right here, will be my post on polka dots.

Cute little pumps - Love the raised heel

This is a bunch of dots that are polka

For the Domestic Goddess within

I could definitely learn to love these cuties

Nice for a Creative Study or Kiddies Room.
And so easy to make

I ♡ SPRING

There's just something about it that makes you want to wear less, do more and give of your all.
