Nom Nom

We bought my mom-in-law a deathly chocolate cake for her birthday last week. Chateau Gateaux are her favourite, but if you ask me, for R228 a cake, I find them indulgently overpriced – I don’t care how delicious.

If I knew how to bake, I would have made her one of these little bad boys. A molten chocolate lava cake (designed by chef Stephane Bureaux) that melts its way into your heart. Literally. When the chocolate candle melts down, you tuck in.

Now that’s nom nom!
